1. Who this notice covers
This notice describes personal information used by Tatva Connect customers and Tatva Partner drivers for intracity goods delivery. It also covers supplier-linked delivery bookings. PM Platform provides shared identity and customer payment services.
2. Information used for delivery
We use account and contact details, pickup and delivery addresses, goods and vehicle information, booking references, trip events, verification records, proof of delivery and payment references. Partner onboarding also collects driving licence, vehicle registration and insurance documents for review. We use session and device information to operate and secure the applications.
3. Location and permissions
With permission, a driver's device supplies location while the driver is online or on a trip. We use it for matching, navigation, arrival checks and sharing the assigned driver's position with the relevant customer and authorised operations staff. Customer location permission helps select an address; it does not control the driver's movement. Browser permissions can be changed in device settings. Browser or device suspension can interrupt updates. Notifications are optional.
4. Why information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, review drivers and vehicles, provide quotes, assign deliveries, verify pickup and drop, collect confirmed payments, provide support, investigate misuse and maintain necessary operational records. Development demo drivers are simulated and must not be mistaken for physical device tracking.
5. Who receives information
The assigned driver and customer receive the contact, address and trip information needed for their delivery. Authorised Tatva operations staff handle verification and support. Service providers supporting identity, payments, maps, storage and hosting process information needed for those functions. An assigned driver's live location is not a public directory of all drivers.
6. Storage, security and retention
Access to account, document and trip information is restricted according to its purpose. We retain information needed for delivery, account operation, disputes and applicable recordkeeping requirements, and review deletion requests against those needs. We do not promise a fixed deletion period in this draft. No website or device can guarantee uninterrupted service or absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You can review account and vehicle details in the app, change device permissions and contact the operator to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Some requests may affect services that need that information. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Statutory rights and remedies are not waived by using the app.
8. Sessions, installation and offline use
The web apps store session information needed to keep you signed in. Installing the PWA adds an app shortcut and offline fallback; it does not guarantee background GPS. The Partner offline cache contains public assets rather than private trip, document or payment API responses. Reconnect before relying on live booking status or taking a trip action.
9. Contact and changes
For privacy requests or concerns contact contact@tatvaops.com. Material policy changes should be communicated in the application before requiring any new consent. This development draft does not retrospectively change existing consent records.
